I found a nice new online tool for Hattrick, the HTStickers team photo by manager HM-uncoke!
Just put the HTML source code of your Hattrick player page into the website and it creates a photo of your team. Very nice and very funny to see!

As we all know, getting some monetary appreciation for your (open source) work is not easy.
Everybody likes to use open source software / projects /content, but most people are not willing to contribute to these project.
Let’s take a look at flattermann.net. My main open source projects at the moment are Hattrick Organizer (aYcon and I are the only developers for HO1), OpenTableTrick (it’s just me) and research for Hattrick.org (I did create the new rating prediction and the new training speed prediction formulas).
This blog has a donate button for some time, but until now, nobody has donated a single cent.
I’ve also tried to get some revenue by adding Google ads to the page, but (of course) nobody clicks on these ads. Google does not pay anything for just showing the ads, only for clicks on them.
To be honest, I do not click on ads on other sites either and I also have AdBlock plus installed.
Nevertheless, I spend a nice amount of time for these open source projects, so it’s a little bit disappointing… I don’t want to get rich with open source projects, but it would be nice if I could pay the server rent or my Hattrick.org supportership with donations.
Therefore, I’ve added a new way to support me:
At the end of every post, there is now a “Buy me a beer” button. If you like to easy my pain, then use it and buy me one.
Alternatively, I do also accept donations for coffee or cigarettes, the programmer’s favourite “food”.
There are two three new online training speed tools for Hattrick.org based on my training speed formula research.
The formula is based on the datasets uploaded by the Hattrick Organizer users using the HO feedback plugin.
Hattrick Organizer uses this training speed formula since version 1.422.

(Suggested: 3€ for a beer, or more for more beer ;-) )FoxLinks is a Firefox helper addon for users of the online soccer manager game Hattrick.org, improving the possibilities to scout an opponents team and making it faster to browse the forum and write a personal mail directly from there without the otherwise needed long clicking orgy.

If you are from Germany or a german speaking country, come to the “Hattrick-Deutschlandtreffen 2009″ from June 5th to June 7th in Herne and meet other Hattrick addicts.
HO 1.424 fixes several problems:
Missing match downloads, wrong training information and the transfer scout player parser.
It also adds new features like the training block implementation, CSV player exporter and relative visualisation of rating differences in the TeamAnalyzer.
