esa,

The alarm playlist are loaded from the server, i.e. if you can select the SQL playlist as alarm through the WebUI (http://yourserver:9000), it should also work in SqueezeCommander.
(How do you set an SQLPlayList as alarm at the moment?)

By not supported, I mean you cannot access the "Extras" menu in SqueezeCommander, i.e. you cannot e.g. edit a SQLPlayList within SqueezeCommander, yet.

I have not tried the app on an Archos 43, but SqueezeCommander should run fine on this device.

AFAIK, Android Market should support paid apps in Belgium now, but if it does not work, you may also use SlideME:
https://slideme.org/application/squeeze-commander

Dear Christian,

I don't understand what it is not possible to do with SQLPlaylist in SqueezeCommander.
Can you explain ?
I use SQLPlayList to wakeup. Is it possible to select this SQL playlist in the Alarm setting ?
I configure the SQLPlayList in my WebBrowser using SQL command.
Is it possible to see and play this SQLPlayList in SqueezeCommander ?

I plan to buy a ARCHOS 43
http://www.archos.com/products/ta/archos_43it/index.html?country=fr&lang=fr
Is it supported for SqueezeCommander ?

FYI : I don't found SqueezeCommander in Android Market.

Janiek,

you should be able to update within the SAM app.
I'm not sure if it notifies you about updates or if you need to check it manually...

You could also subscribe to the RSS feed of my site to see the updates or check the thread in the SlimDevices forum at http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69352.

Trackstat rating support is included in 0.9.5.
Trackstat playlist, SQL playlist, Dynamic playlist and so on will definitely be included in a future version.

Casmic,

Have you tried to open the SBS WebUI page on the phone?:

- Open the web browser on your phone
- Open the page http://192.xxx.xxx.xxx:9000 in the browser

If the WebUI does not open either, it seems to be a problem with your WLAN or firewall.
Please check the settings of your WLAN router and make sure that traffic between WLAN and LAN is not blocked.

PS: I don't think that this is the problem, but just to be sure:
You only need to insert the "192.xxx.xxx.xxx" in the IP field of SqueezeCommander, there's a separate text box for the port number.

Christian,

USB sollte möglich sein (wenn Du Linux auf der internen MMC installierst), habe ich aber noch nicht getestet.
Zu uPnP kann ich leider nichts sagen...

Hi,

Just purchased your app. Works way better than the free ones.
Also had to get it through SlideMe, as in Belgium the market shows no paid apps.

I've got these questions:
- How to I get updates, eg. 0.9.6, does the app check or do I have to check on SlideMe (sorry new to Android app management)
- Trackstat, SQL Playlist, Dynamic Playlist on the server delivers me the option to use smart playlists on a Nokia N810. Any chance this is something that will be implemented in SqueezeCommander too ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

I have a Sony Ericsson X10 mini pro, but cannot get the squeezecomander work

The problem is that the program can not find the server and is set up right with ip 192.xxx.xxx.xxx:9000 .I can run squeezeserver from this address (on my computer) but not from the phone.

Could it be the phone that fails (can see someone else has a similar problem)?

It must be said that I have Squeezeserveren installed on a HPmediesmart server, but it would probably illle be a problem?

Hi Christian,

ah, ok, sorry - falsch verstanden. :-)

LG Christian
